I started doing Crossfit September 22nd 2009 and I loved it - it's totally awesome and it made me a better person in so many different ways!

After nearly 4 years of Crossfit and wrist injury I tried a home fitness DVD for a change and something new - Rip 60 was really great and then I found Beachbody / Tony Horton's P90X!
It's THE best home fitness program ever!!!
It changed my body in so many amazing ways and got my cardio fitness, my core and overall strength including push up strength better than ever before!!

I now do many Beachbody programs as they are all so great.
I 'm a big Tony Horton fan because he makes me work hard but makes me laugh at the same time.
After I completed P90X, I did P90X3, P90X2 and some P90X+. I''ve tried other Beachbody programs including the P90, Piyo, Focus T25,
21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat, BodyBeast and Insanity, The Aslyum 1 and 2. Completed 21 Day Fix and 22 Min hard Core.

Did some Insanity Max 30 and Core de Force but my knees can't handle jumping every day so I have to mix them in.
Shift shop is great and looking forward to the new 80 Day obsession.

I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life and still getting stronger every day!

BodyBeast Bulk Chest

This didn't go as well as I had hoped maybe becaue I did it again too soon after the last one but be better next time.
I was aware of my back during the declines and not sure why?

I thought I wanted something more afterwards so started cize but after the first move my chest was not having any of it.

Bodybeast Bulk Shoulders and T25 Speed 2.0

Bulk shoulders was pretty good tonight -  enjoyed it got most of my weights spot on and will up others next time too.

Needed something more afterwards so did T25 Speed 2.0 - loved it and surprised myself how well I kept up ;)

Bodybeast Bulk Back

Really enjoyed this one tonight, probably because I got to deadlift again but it felt great. I even managed all 30 (3 x 10) pull ups (assisted) so really pleased with that - good improved from 27 last time in Build back.

No HRM again didn't even try it.

Body Beast Bulk Chest and Abs

Bulk Chest and caught up with abs that I didn't do yesterday - did it all except the plank twist thingies as my chest was very tired and I didn't want to be silly.

Bulk Chest went ok, didn't get some of my weights quite right but should be better next time.

Didn't bother with HRM again and only just broke a sweat so it wouldn't have told me much I didn't know lol

BodyBeast Cardio

After 120 mile round trip to Lincoln and back was short on time but managed to get Beast Cardio done - no time for abs but pleased I got something done. Just what I needed to loosen me up after the stiffness of all that driving. We found a great property too, fingers crossed!

Used 2kg for the shoulders and 3kg for everything else like last time. Improved on some bits and not others but just glad I got it done today.

No HRM again.

Bodybeast Bulk Arms

This was just bi's and tris and I hardly broke a sweat! Didn't go crazy with the weights and I'm pleased because some of those progressive sets are really tough.

The single hammer curl against the knee was new to me and I just made it with a couple of breaks!

Bodybeast Bulk Legs

Short on time tonight after a drive to Bedford and back! Although the plan said Build legs - It seems silly to just do 2 more build ones and it just didn't seem to flow. The bulk ones I believe are slightly shorter so I went for Bulk legs instead.

Wowser thats a lot of lunges! I was cautious with the weight as my legs were screaming very early on.

The sumo's were ok just about but the spilt lunge super set I got all wrong, he didn't seem to change legs so I did and then it was all out of sequence so I will have to watch that through for next time so I know what I'm doing?

Enjoyed it though overall, even though my head phones and HRM decided not to work grrrr

Bodybeast Build Chest & Tri's

Upped my DB Chest press to 25lbs and just managed it ;)

Fly and press were the same, upped my close grip to 8kg and partial chest fly to 5kg and managed more decline push ups - 12,10 & 8 so really please with that.

The last super set I kept the weights the same and did the drop set properly this time and managed more military push ups wahoo!!

Dips I did them all with straight legs this time so yay me and managed 18 with 2 breaks. Also got 30 in and outs up from 28 :)

Insanity Pure Cardio

Ok so after a very long 13 hour day to Wales and back, 400 miles round trip to look at two properties and more traffic than anyone needs in a day causing us to be stressfully late for an appointment, I really needed something to get the endorphins flying tonight.

Chest and Tris was not going to do it for me so I did Insanity Pure Cardio and boy did I need it!!!! Loved it, it's a cracking workout!!! I feel less stressed, less frustrated and tons better - Thank you ST.

Bodybeast Build Shoulders and Cize You got this.

Upped some of weights again on Shoulders and was pleased with progress. 10kg shrugs - who knew the traps were so strong, def try 13.6kg/30lb next time.

My shoulders have always been week so looking forward to improve on my 2 x 5kg shoulder press for 8 reps tonight.

Fancied doing something else tonight so had to try the 2nd Cize routine 'You got this' and it's crazy!!! Really fast paced compared to crazy 8's but good fun. One part I couldn't get my head round at all but will try harder next time.

Busy day managed to get it done thank goodness.

Went with 2kg for shoulder press - was much better than the 3kgs last time, 3kgs for everything else.

Pushed hard and really enjoyed it. Mountain climbers are getting much better and really pleased with my burpees too ;)

Those squat holds are still really burny burny though!!

Abs was noticeable improvement too yay!

Skipped the Deadlifts because of the lifting I've been doing over the last few days (boxes moving) my lower back feels pretty tired so decided to be sensible and not push my luck. But got the rest done.

Apart from the pull over, which makes my left shoulder click when I go heavy, so stayed the same I upped all the other heavy 8 reps sets so pleased with that. And wow what a pump I got tonight in my bi's and forearms = Beast up!!!

Rested yesterday as was pretty knackered but managed to get one done today - unusually for me on a Sunday but its been a crazy week.

Felt good, upped my weights and pushed hard with shaky legs on the Bulgarians. Still loving the beast but looking forward to trying the bulk workouts - never done them before!

After a couple of very hard days and no workouts I managed to get it done tonight.

Went ok, upped on the chest press and incline press but my decline push ups were low, mainly because I was aware of my back. I lifted something incorrectly today and was cautious.

Hopefully good mending tonight and all is fine.

Had a stressful day and needed something more than recovery and mobility tonight so did Grit Strength 6 followed by Relief.

Needed it and went for it - felt tired but great and really needed the stretch afterwards ;)

I had to do Crazy 8's again to see if I could get it right..and I did it ;) I'm no dancer thats for sure but the last move had me beat the first time but this time I think I nailed it :)

Straight into Build shoulders and got the weights spot on this time where I only just managed to finish some of the sets. Except the shrugs, they were that easy I had to stop counting at 9 when I was supped to be doing 8!!! Lets add another 3kg and go for 10kg's next time ;)

My mum patted me on my leg/thigh today and said "Oooh you got some muscles coming in those legs!" Yay for beasty legs :) :) :)

Used 2 x 3kg in cardio - which was tough for shoulder press but great for everything else.

Abs was much better than last week and got more/most reps completed so really pleased with that. Use 3kg again so all good.

Bodybeast Build Back & Bi's

Bodybeast Build Back & Bi's

Good workout today - upped my barbell deadlift to 40kg / 88lb for 8 and it felt good especially only a few hours after doing 2 hours of garden work including lots soil shuffling :(

The last round of EZ bar curls I got up to 17.3kg / 38lb and I only just managed to finished the set ouchy!

Loving the beast - everybody beast up!!!

Cize Crazy 8's and Body Beast Build Legs

So I couldn't resist it any longer I had to have a go at Cize. I tried the first Crazy 8's tonight and it was good fun.

It was harder than I thought i.e. more complicated and yet easier that I thought because Shaun breaks it down so well and I'm really surprised how much it made me sweat!

I was taking it easy because its new but also to conserve some energy for Build Legs and even though I had to take a few mins to sort my iPhone (that videoing me - it was full and stopped recording grrrrr - I had to fetch my iPad instead) I still burnt 274 cals!!!

Then went straight into Build legs and upped most of my weights from last session had a great session that made my legs scream a little lol.

I really enjoyed today, need to up my chest press weights next time but my triceps stuff was spot on as I only just managed to complete the reps.
I was really pleased that I did the decline push ups - first time I've done them with my feet that high on my bench - didn't go crazy deep or manage all the reps but the only way is up from here ;)

Body Beast Cardio & Abs

This was pretty good today - I used 2 x 2 kg didn't go crazy but still got a good workout. Oh boy those squat holds are ouchy!

Abs was ok, I used a 3kg DB and apart from the crunches hurting that silly pain behind my right shoulder blade all moves were pretty tough for me but I managed as many reps as possible.
