Slow getting started today as I had intruptions and someone wanting to chat to me while I warmed up but 20 mins later I eventually got going and loved it.
Those plyo sections certainly spiked the HR today phew!!!
Chin up strength is getting better, I just need it stronger at the bottom section..the downside to the Chin up max as guess as I'm really strong at the top but not so much at the starting point where it gives most assistance. I did some jump ups and really slow negatives to try to build my strength up more ;)

P90X2 SW3 D6 Base and Back
This was fun and tough today - I got more reps here and there and overall pleased with improvements but my HR and calorie burn didn't reflect it? Am I adapting to it? Am I getting fitter??
I'm thinking a little 22MHC cardio and light resistance semi recovery week then onto 3 week X2 deluxe strength phase.

P90X2 SW2 D6 Base and Back
Loved this today, got more reps in both the plyo bits and the pull ups and I got my unassisted Chin up back wahoo!!!!
I'm thinking I'll join everyone with Hard Labour next week for quick change of pace then get back to X2 as I'm really enjoying it and seeing progress = win win!!!

P90X2 Base and Back
Really enjoyed this today, a variety of pull ups followed by a plyo move, repeat with a different one etc etc etc.
Great fun and working those big muscles on those plyo moves really gets the heart rate up - you get a few seconds to find you life again before more pull ups - love it!!
Chin up progress - tried a couple unassisted on the 3rd round and managed nose to bar then forehead to bar. Hoping for chin over next session - fingers crossed.

P90X2 Base and Back & MHC 10 Min Chisel Abs
Enjoyed this tonight, most of it felt much easier than I remember it being so that was good.
Chased it with Chisel abs instead of X2 Ab ripper as I felt like a change, it was good but my abs were still tired from Yoga X's belly 7!!!!

Deadlift + P90X2 Base and Back
Deadlift + X2 Base and Back
So did the Base and back warmup and then did my deadlifts 15 @ 18kg, 12 @ 28kg & 8 @ 38kg then hit base and back but had trouble with my pull ups.
Because my chin up assist is fubar I tried my door hanging/beachbody pull up bar with a black band and put my knee in for the first few but my knee doesn't like being squished. Tried another type of assist with a blue band in my rack but it was too easy and awkward grrrr - I thought it might be better than the chair but I was wrong.
So in the end I did pull downs @ 35kg which is better than nothing but somehow just not as satisfying.
Will def. try the chair assist up and negative down next session to see if I can build some more strength. But I know that can get very painful so as I can do a good 8 reps with the 35kg pull down I'll up it to 40kg and see how many I can do? To get the best of both worlds.
See how I go if all else fails will get another assist grrrr
Please ignore my thinking aloud and venting nobody else quite understands

P90X2 Week 8, Day 6 Base and Back + Ab ripper
P90X2 Week 8, Day 6 Strength phase done at last
Base and Back + Ab ripper
I managed to up a few reps tonight but not many as some I did harder versions working towards that elusive chin up. I did some slow negatives and some jumping up lower 1/4 to 1/2 way and back up again.
My bi's and tri's still sore so not surprising I didn't break any records tonight
The plyo stuff all went well, I wasn't crazy with the jumping and tried to concentrate on my landings. No knee pain so yay
Ab ripper was tough as always after yoga yesterday
I pushed when I could and laid there pulling my knees in when I couldn't
But I completed the strength phase, so onward to the PAP ones next week. I'm looking forward to them and not looking forward to the repetition of them at the same time - wish me luck lol
I didn't do the elite block of X3 because the thought of the same workout twice a week didn't thrill me but I will push through and hope it does me good.
Some people have said they lost strength in this phase and I really hope that doesn't happen!

P90X2 Wk 6, Day 6 Base & Back + Ab Ripper
P90X2 Week 6, Phase 2 Strength, Day 6
Base & Back + Ab Ripper
This went really well for me tonight - I even managed 1/2 of an unassisted chin up. I jumped up then lowered myself halfway and made it back up again - wahoo! More progress
My plyo lunge press's are getting better and I even tried with 0.5kg in each hand and it was good. I know 0.5kg is nothing but considering I've only just worked out how to do Mary Katherines
I'm pretty pleased to start adding weight with a press
Ab Ripper was tough tonight - this block has 3 days straight of abs (ab ripper, yoga with abs at the end
and then ab ripper again
they are tough - what happened to not working the same muscle group every day Tony!!!

P90X2 Wk 5, Day 6 Base and Back + Ab Ripper
P90X2 Week 5, Phase 2 Strength, Day 6
Base and Back+ Ab Ripper
I enjoyed tonight, was running a little late but got it done thank goodness.
I expected it to be more tiring - leg day is usually a bear and this wasn't. Probably because its all plyo legs and no weights as such i.e. no weighted lunges or squats or anything.
But I enjoyed it and I certainly won't dred it next week
