I started doing Crossfit September 22nd 2009 and I loved it - it's totally awesome and it made me a better person in so many different ways!

After nearly 4 years of Crossfit and wrist injury I tried a home fitness DVD for a change and something new - Rip 60 was really great and then I found Beachbody / Tony Horton's P90X!
It's THE best home fitness program ever!!!
It changed my body in so many amazing ways and got my cardio fitness, my core and overall strength including push up strength better than ever before!!

I now do many Beachbody programs as they are all so great.
I 'm a big Tony Horton fan because he makes me work hard but makes me laugh at the same time.
After I completed P90X, I did P90X3, P90X2 and some P90X+. I''ve tried other Beachbody programs including the P90, Piyo, Focus T25,
21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat, BodyBeast and Insanity, The Aslyum 1 and 2. Completed 21 Day Fix and 22 Min hard Core.

Did some Insanity Max 30 and Core de Force but my knees can't handle jumping every day so I have to mix them in.
Shift shop is great and looking forward to the new 80 Day obsession.

I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life and still getting stronger every day!

TNB Wk 3 Lower Strength + 22MHC Core 1

Smashed the Goblet Sumo and the Deadlift but the big bowflex are a little unwieldy at heavier weights. Also working my grip strength too.

Felt much stronger all round though so really pleased with progress.

Core 1 went exceptionally well, I hit every rep and my form was much better throughout.

This 4 day rotation seems to be working well at the moment. Upper strength, Lower strength + Core, Cardio, Yoga/BodyBalance, Upper Metabolic, Lower Metabolic, Combat + Core, Yoga/BodyBalance. With a rest day in there if I feel the need. :)

TNB Wk 3 Upper Strength

Increased most of the weights again and pleased with progress.

Pullovers still make my shoulder click so need to stay cautious with that but other than that all good.

LMOD BodyBalance 81

Missing some yoga and flexibility work so added in the great Bodybalance workout. Nothing too strenuous so great for recovery day.

The meditation at the end was lovely too.

LMOD BodyCombat 78

This was a little slow to get started but then took off.

Not much leg work and one set of mountain climbers so good for after leg day :)

Some very fast combos but Enjoyed it.

TNB WK 2 1B Lower Metabolic + 22MHC Core 1

Pleased with Sumo and Deadlift increases and hit top end straight the way :)

Bridges felt good but Bulgarians were tough as always.

Chased it with 22MHC Core 1 and yes I got all the reps - really pleased with my core strength coming back.

Looking forward to full bodycombat session tomorrow :)

LMOD Combat and Core Combo #3

Les Mills Combat and Core Combo #3 today and as usual the core section was tough - my abs were screaming!!!!

The Combat section was ok, didn't feel like I was working crazy hard but HR up there! Erin does some of it and she's not my fav combat instructor :(

TNB 1A Week 2 Lower Strength

Lower Strength again and really surprised on my increases :) Either strength or reps all over :)

Weighted bridges I will have to do more reps as the 30lbs bowflex dumbbell is really unwieldy to get into position but still did 12 reps every set today - which is 6 up from last week!

TNB 1A Week 2 Upper Strength

Week 2 and feeling good. Some increases over all but shoulders are toast.

Odd clicking in shoulder with pullovers since minor increase in weight so see how it goes.

LMOD Combat & Core Combo #2

Les Mills Combo of Half Combat and half CX Works and it was pretty brutal!

Enjoyed the Combat section but the Core section was tough, especially after ringing out your core already in Combat!!

Ingenious use of the band and I was so toast by the end!

TNB 1B Lower Metabolic

Lower weight and higher reps and it was tough. Good but tough on the glutes today, I think I fired them in the earlier sets and so when I came to the Bulgarian squat they just screamed mercy and I had to drop the weight in the final set.

TNB 1A Lower Strength

Redo of this was again as Redoing Week 1.

Please with small progress and I like the format. I'm choosing the Low held Sumo Squat over the Goblet squat as its more functional for me lifting boxes at work.

The hamstring curl is quite strange and a little awkward but feels like its working. I was very cautious last week but 3kg felt good this week.

TNB 1A Upper Strength

Upper Strength again as I decided to re-do week 1 as last week just kinda failed some how.

But Shoulders feel stronger already and the moves feel good. Concentrating on the muscles being worked while listening to Music is making a huge difference than listening to the DVD's - who knew?

These shorter workouts are easier to fit in but obviously not the high calorie burn I'm used to.

But energy levels are performing well on low carb :)
