I started doing Crossfit September 22nd 2009 and I loved it - it's totally awesome and it made me a better person in so many different ways!

After nearly 4 years of Crossfit and wrist injury I tried a home fitness DVD for a change and something new - Rip 60 was really great and then I found Beachbody / Tony Horton's P90X!
It's THE best home fitness program ever!!!
It changed my body in so many amazing ways and got my cardio fitness, my core and overall strength including push up strength better than ever before!!

I now do many Beachbody programs as they are all so great.
I 'm a big Tony Horton fan because he makes me work hard but makes me laugh at the same time.
After I completed P90X, I did P90X3, P90X2 and some P90X+. I''ve tried other Beachbody programs including the P90, Piyo, Focus T25,
21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat, BodyBeast and Insanity, The Aslyum 1 and 2. Completed 21 Day Fix and 22 Min hard Core.

Did some Insanity Max 30 and Core de Force but my knees can't handle jumping every day so I have to mix them in.
Shift shop is great and looking forward to the new 80 Day obsession.

I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life and still getting stronger every day!

Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Yesterday I got in Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit and today OMG my calves!!!!!

I forgot all the plank, push up and mountian climbers in this one - its not just lower body that for sure.

Didn't get a workout in today as energy levels low again from not enough sleep grrrrrr

Hope everyone is still smashing it!!!

I want to give Asylum Upper Elite a try as I've never done it - It is a good one???

The Asylum Strength

So after poor sleep and 3 days of no workouts as I just had not got the energy from very little sleep I finally got a decent night on Friday night and so Saturday I did Asylum Strength at my gym so I could use the Pull up bar too ;)

Used 3's & 4's for shoulders and 5's & 6's for eveything else.

Felt great to get something done and I actually felt like myself again.

Last night was not great sleep as we had an almightly thunderstorm for about 1 1/2 hours with lighting that I could see through my eye lids!!!

Need to get back to some regular sleep and regular workouts this week. Although I'm not sure what to attack next???

BodyBeast Build Legs and P90X3 Eccentric Upper

Monday my upper body still felt trashed due to lack of sleep so went for lower body and did Build Legs - Wow that is still a tough one!!! But loved it lol

Today I went for Eccentric upper but as soon as started I felt it - everything felt hard and heavy OMG. I pushed through as best as I could but skipped the burnout as I was toaste toast.

My lack of sleep of being woken early every day is really taking its toll - I even know to it today as my brain/thinking feels slow = not good :( I really need to get an early night tonight...wish me luck!

Good to see everyone still smashing it!!!

P90X3 Eccentric Upper, Incinerator and LMOD BodyCombat 70

Eccentric Lower was a good shaky leg day on Thursday - struggled with TT plus as usual and did standing calf raises instead of Calf dog but over all good stuff.

Friday was Incinerator for me and phew - it was tough on not enough sleep. I didnt even complete the burnout as I was toast!!!

Yesterday I had some some good fun with Dan and Rach with BodyCombat 70 - needed to punch and kick out some stress and frustrations.

Struggling with time and sleep still but doing my best to push play and get at least get 30 mins in as often as I can.

Yesterday P90X3 Eccentric Upper and today Triometrics

Late posting with crazy stuff going on :(

Yesterday was P90X3 Eccentric Upper and it was brutal! I originally planned to go light weight through and then heavy up second time but I was short on time and so went middle of the road with weights based on last time worksheets (Feb 17)...but as I got stuck it.... boy it was tough!

So I decided not to be silly and just did it once because at the end I was DONE!!!!

Woke up to find doms in most of my upper body lol

Late morning I managed to squeeze in some X3 Triometrics - loved it as usual :)

On a side note - I updated my adobe flash player and hey presto the play buttons not show up and BOD works properly again in a browser. Thank goodness.

Joel Freeman 8 x 8 and P90X3 MMX

Late posting as things are just crazy at the moment but yesterday I tried out Joel Freemans 8 x 8 on BOD which was pretty good.

I chased it with P90X3 MMX which was great fun as usual :)

Anyone else having trouble with BOD in a browser???? Some of the workouts just will not play for me - the play button isn't there on iMac and iPad???
So I had to use the BOD app on my ipad which also decided to read my HR monitor so well it wouldn't let my phone see it as usual so I had to use the BOD App HR monitor :(

I'm thinking of getting a Roku stick (as BOD refuses to play any workouts at all on my firestick at home) but does anyone know if can I use it on my iMac??? As I haven't got a TV or monitor in my gym???

Shift Shop Strength 25 Twice

Fancied something different today so I did Shift Shop 25 with medium weight and then did it again with heavier weights.

Plank stuff better than I remember it but still tough for me. Enjoyed it though!!!

Insanity Asylum Strength

Wow has been warm today or what - phew!!

Don't think I'm going to get chance for a workout tomorrow as I've got a crazy bust day so today was a bit of everything with Insanity Asylum Strength. Boy it really does works you hard with the right weights!!!

Struggled on shoulders as usual, skipped the 2nd push up in the 3rd crazy circuit to keep up and just did my best lol but over all I think I smashed it as best as I could in this heat and with swollen ankles of unknown origin.

My hip pain is about 90% resolved thank goodness. Just a little pain in childs pose and in low lunge hip flexor stretch.

T25 Speed 1.0 & BodyBeast Build Legs

Yesterday I wanted some cardio but was wary of my hip still mending so I went with T25 Speed 1.0. Didn't or rather couldn't squat too low and was cautious throughout but got it done, got a good sweat on and my hip was a little achy but held up good over all. :)

Today I decided to try some Body Beast Build legs...again couldn't squat very deep (only about 3/4 normal depth) and had to be careful on Bulgarians for depth also. I didn't do his variety of Sinlge leg deadlift I did a more weighted Warrior 3 versions (like phase 3 of 80DO for those that have done it) and overall pleased with getting a good workout in at last.

My hip was a little achey at times and for short time afterwards but I think it got the blood pumping and I hope speeds the mending over the weekend so I can get back to normal daily workouts on Monday. This last 10 days of hit and miss with the hip pain has really upset my rhythm.

P90X3 The Challenge and CDF 5 Min Core on the Floor

Sorry I'm a little AWOL at the moment - got stuff going on.

Yesterday I managed P90X3 The Challenge and increased my push ups by 2 reps every set and then I very carefully tried CDF 5 Min Core on the Floor. I kept my feet stacked on the side planks as my hip is still not happy. It moans at funny angles, squatting, being too open or being squashed as in childs pose so I still feel pretty restricted and really want to do some cardio or yoga - we always want what we can't have don't we lol??

Nothing today so I'm hoping if I can get more sleep (still burning the candle and it doesn't help with repairing and healing) I'm hoping to get something done tomorrow.
