I started doing Crossfit September 22nd 2009 and I loved it - it's totally awesome and it made me a better person in so many different ways!

After nearly 4 years of Crossfit and wrist injury I tried a home fitness DVD for a change and something new - Rip 60 was really great and then I found Beachbody / Tony Horton's P90X!
It's THE best home fitness program ever!!!
It changed my body in so many amazing ways and got my cardio fitness, my core and overall strength including push up strength better than ever before!!

I now do many Beachbody programs as they are all so great.
I 'm a big Tony Horton fan because he makes me work hard but makes me laugh at the same time.
After I completed P90X, I did P90X3, P90X2 and some P90X+. I''ve tried other Beachbody programs including the P90, Piyo, Focus T25,
21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat, BodyBeast and Insanity, The Aslyum 1 and 2. Completed 21 Day Fix and 22 Min hard Core.

Did some Insanity Max 30 and Core de Force but my knees can't handle jumping every day so I have to mix them in.
Shift shop is great and looking forward to the new 80 Day obsession.

I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life and still getting stronger every day!

MHC - Total Body Chisel & 10 mins Abs

Wow this is a really great workout - best of the bunch I reckon.
I took a few breaks to sort my weights out and my bench takes longer to adjust than theirs but still got a great workout!!

And Chisel Abs OMG they are brutal!!!

Love this program and really dent think I would but I do - think I may even have to buy the deluxe ones too!!

Upped my weights and pushed on this tonight - had to pause a few times to put weights away and track stuff but really enjoyed it.

The weighted steps up after those bulgarians OMG!!!

MHC - Chisel Agility

Pushed hard tonight and really enjoyed it.

Plank Tap X - I even managed all the way through - wahoo!! No knee down like last time but did go into down dog for a couple of breaths both rounds but still great progress for me.

Although I'm wondering about subbing in Plyo X for more of a burn??? But I'll stick to the program for now I guess.

MHC - Hammer Total Body

Upped most of my weights today and pleased with progress.

Pull ups seems harder than ever today and I managed all the bulgarians without dropping the weight (albeit a lighter weights) but I can go up from here.

MHC - Hammer Conditioning

Another good one - a little different and yet the same lol.

This was tough for me tonight as I'm actually sore from Chisel Balance yesterday and this one works some of the same muscles so was a little ouchy but still enjoyed it. Especially the "Burpee Renegade upright row" love it!!!

MHC - Chisel Balance

Wow the difference a bench makes!! Last time I did this with no bench and this time I did upping my weights slightly too) and it made a huge difference. Almost 100 calories difference to be precise!!

I upped my weights to 5kg except for the single leg deadlift which I upped to 7kg and the very last set of pistols which I dropped to 4kg as I was toast.

Loved it!!!

MHC - Hammer Power

This was a great workout, really enjoyed it. Even brought some muscle memory back from when I did crossfit.

Loved it but need to up most of the weights next time to get more out of it.

MHC - Chisel Agility

Another good workout. When you've done P90X Plyometrics and P90X3 Agility X - This was fairly familiar in most parts. So I didn't find it crazy hard but it was a good workout.

I pushed harder in the second round as I knew what was coming ;)



My own full body stretch I did afterwards - Which I normally do but I separated it off just to see the burn from the workout alone.

MHC Max Hammer Strength

This was a really great workout tonight but I started off way too cautious on the weights. I should have previewed before hand and got my max weights ready!

I pushed more towards the end but will up it next time to get more out of it ;)

I held the weights at my side instead on my shoulder for the squat - holding 10kg/22lb on each shoulder while squatting was pretty hard, it affected my balance and I felt it my back from the weight pulling me forward so after 2 reps the weights were at my sides.

My 35lb single rows were about right after getting fatigued on the chin ups though!

The seated calf raises I did standing with 30lb in each hand - I find it more effective than the seated version. But needs 35s next time!

Looking forward to doing this one again.

MHC - Chisel Cardio

Wow cardio but not as we know it!!!!

No furious jumping around on this cardio workout - except a few burpees that is! Brilliant workout!!

I did assisted chin ups instead the prescribed pull ups in this as we've done so many pull ups that I thought some chin ups would be more beneficial, especially for me as I'm stronger at them so I could more done giving more of a cardio effect for me.

Loved it!!! Didn't give me the same cardio high I get from T25 or Insanity but a great cardio workout that is easy on the joints ;)

MH&C Total Body Hammer

Well finally a reasonable strength workout for this program!!

Enjoyed it but I did the step lunges as static lunges so will change that next time. Went cautious on the weights so will up them next time for sure.

Master Hammer and Chisel - Chisel Endurance

So this was a great workout - enjoyed it and will up some of the weights to make it harder next time.

I upped the weight in the second round and was pleased with what I did. My bench is quite soft but its just makes more challenging ;)

Hammer and Chisel Day 4 - Iso Speed Hammer.

Well I don't know where to start - this was more of a recovery workout than anything else - in my opinion. if they programmed it after a heavy day then that was maybe its intention but its mostly programmed after rest day!!!! So I have no clue and feel this one is big miss from Beachbody and Sagi

With the 10 reps you kind of want to go heavy to get anything out of it and yet with the fast 10 reps you can't go heavy so it just contradicts itself. You have to go fairly light and by the end you really don't feel like you done anything at all????

I was short on time tonight or I would have probably done something else like tomorrows workout too!
I won't be bothering with this one again unless I need a light recovery day or a warm up for some heavy weights.

H&C Chisel Iso Strength

Wow this is a tough one - with them isometric holds for 10 secs. Make sure you pick the right weight for these moves because its gonna burn and its gonna burn some more !!!!

Another great workout by Autumn. The workout is pretty short but get the weights right its a real burner!!!

The Masters Hammer and Chisel - Chisel Balance

So after two days off - neither off them really planed, Hamer and Chisel arrived today so I decided to get started ;) I figured a change would be good and shorter workouts will help while my energy levels sort themselves out.

Chisel Balance - Autumn at her best. Really enjoyed this one and I was sweating buckets without really doing much if you know what I mean!

So new moves in there and it reminded me a little P90X2 but dare I say it better!!! P90X2 I found some of it crazy hard although this is challenging its more doable - for me anyway!

I didn't use the bench today, I have to fetch it from another room for tomorrow so I will use it next time but bowser great workout!

I only used 4kgs for it and could probably up it next time for all the moves except the pull overs?

The Bulgarians Squat plyo - OMG that which foot on chair was really difficult and second time I didn't on the floor and it was so much easier so you can really work as hard you can/want too.

T25 Lower Focus & Ab Intervals

Phew!! T25 double and bowser - I was toast about 10 mins into ab intervals!!!

This was tough but I will keep at it till it gets easier - that my challenge! More endurance, stamina and a stronger core!!!!

P90X Chest and Back

So after two rough days doing nothing recovering and a total of 4 days suffering with with very bad DOMS I felt much better and got back to it!

Chest and back went ok tonight - I decreased the assistance on my chin up max by taking the middle band out and it was too tough so I raised the stirrup up a tad and went with it. Bought my numbers down to 6-8 (and a 3) but that good because I know I ill be stronger for it ;)

Push ups I aimed at 8 reps instead of 10 and aimed to get them all on my feet - was better but still a few military ones still had to go knees - maybe next time!!

P90X Legs and Back

I managed to get this all done tonight - wahoo!!! Things are getting better.

Went well and upped my weights for calf raises and did the same or more reps for pull ups/chin up with less assistance which was really pleasing.

Afterwards I took out the the central red band on my chin up assist and see how many I can get done next week ;)

Fountain of Youth Yoga

So I did 10 mins hoovering just to see the 33 calls burnt tonight before I got going lol

I did Tony's Fountain of Youth Yoga which was great - still can't do all the ab section but getting better.

Then I did my Egoscue stretches trying to improve my dysfunction according to his book - after Tony says look it up in X3.
