I started doing Crossfit September 22nd 2009 and I loved it - it's totally awesome and it made me a better person in so many different ways!

After nearly 4 years of Crossfit and wrist injury I tried a home fitness DVD for a change and something new - Rip 60 was really great and then I found Beachbody / Tony Horton's P90X!
It's THE best home fitness program ever!!!
It changed my body in so many amazing ways and got my cardio fitness, my core and overall strength including push up strength better than ever before!!

I now do many Beachbody programs as they are all so great.
I 'm a big Tony Horton fan because he makes me work hard but makes me laugh at the same time.
After I completed P90X, I did P90X3, P90X2 and some P90X+. I''ve tried other Beachbody programs including the P90, Piyo, Focus T25,
21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat, BodyBeast and Insanity, The Aslyum 1 and 2. Completed 21 Day Fix and 22 Min hard Core.

Did some Insanity Max 30 and Core de Force but my knees can't handle jumping every day so I have to mix them in.
Shift shop is great and looking forward to the new 80 Day obsession.

I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life and still getting stronger every day!

P90X Shoulders and Arms

Finally able to walk pain free but bending and certain movements are still painful but I needed to do something today so carefully hit P90X Shoulders and Arms.
Not the typical warm up because well I couldn't lol. So a shortened upper body only warm up and skipped through some of the chatter as I short on time but it just felt great to move some iron about and remind my muscles that they are needed and to try not lose what they've gained.

Pain!!

No idea what I did wrong in X3 Ab Ripper on Wednesday but OMG have I hurt my hipflexor!!

Its agony, hurts to walk, turn over in bed and dont ask me to think about getting in my car!!!

I rested yesterday, well no workout, but still did over 8000 steps hobbling round to do my job and I dont think it helped as today it was worse. Sitting in a chair or trying put my socks on is crazy painful so no Leg day for me today!!

I limped round work this morning but finished early as it was just too much - so going to try and rest as much as possible over the weekend and hopfully be ok for Monday. Really annoyed about it as I must have twisted it funny doing the ab side plank twisty things but I'm really not sure.

Hope everyone else is doing great and smashing it!!!

P90X3 The Challenge and X3 Ab Ripper

Fairly pleased with my number today as I increased on my pull ups by 2 every set compared to last time! Push ups were tough but got through to match my reps from last time but with very few on knees - mainly to protect my shoulder which is really getting there now I feel :)

Not sure what happened in the burn out - I was doing unassisted jump up and slow negs plus 3 std push ups and the first one really spiked my HR and didnt really come down till I changed over to Ab ripper?. I took a few breaths to calm a few times and just carried on. I thought it was just incorrect HR reading for a start but checking my pulse is was going some (I coud feel the pounding in my neck and chest even) so no idea why but I didn't feel rough or feint or any thing so I guess I'm fine lol.

Ab ripper starts out easy peasy and then BAM he really turns the hurt on OMG!!

Max 30 Sweat Fest

OMG!!! Not done this one before and I love it lol!

I’m pretty tired as burning the candle at both ends at the moment but it was just what I needed. Didn’t max out till about min 24 struggling on the plank work as usual lol. Push ups were super tough with doms from yesterday but I pushed through and really enjoyed it.

I feel like I have more energy now that what I did before I started!

H&C Hammer Build Up

Start of new Member Choice Hybrid with Hammer Build Up and I went a little light on the legs but everything was about right.

Fast paced but enjoyed it.

Was short on time so didnt get Ab ripper done but after that 3kg windsheild wipers at the end I felt like my core got a good workout already.

Rest week, Sun Burn and P90X3 The Warrior and X3 Yoga

Been a bit AWOL this week, started out with a unplanned rest day and then getting badly sunburnt on Wednesday while having day out away from it all.

That took more out of me than I thought and finally got back to it Saturday with X3 The Warrior and X3 Yoga.

Been really busy and spending far less time on facebook but I'm ready to get back to my workouts tomorrow with the new Members Choice hybrid.

P90X2 Base and Back

Slow getting started today as I had intruptions and someone wanting to chat to me while I warmed up but 20 mins later I eventually got going and loved it.

Those plyo sections certainly spiked the HR today phew!!!

Chin up strength is getting better, I just need it stronger at the bottom section..the downside to the Chin up max as guess as I'm really strong at the top but not so much at the starting point where it gives most assistance. I did some jump ups and really slow negatives to try to build my strength up more ;)

P90X2 Shoulder and Arms

Really enjoyed this good ol' basic lifting today. First round I did some one leg balance work with light wrights then not so much in the 2nd with medium weights and then just heavy weights in the 3rd.

T25 Beta Core Speed & P90X3 Yoga

Maybe should have done Recovery & Mobility today but I needed to burn off a little overeating from last night so Shaun T and me and a quick 25 mins and then I stretched out with Tony!

Just what I needed although my legs do feel pretty tired lol but they can recover tomorrow with Shoulders and Arms ;)

P90X2 Plyocide

This was great fun today and harder than I remember lol - I actually think it was harder because I'm fitter so I can give it more oomph - if you know what I mean!

Used a 3kg medball for the mary katherines but struggles overhead, then used a 2kg DB for other stuff.

P90X2 Chest, Back and Balance

P90X2 Chest, Back and Balance today and I really suprised myself! Looking at my worksheets I'm clearly much stronger than I was last time I did this one. :)

I really worked on the chin/pull ups today doing as many unassisted as poss and some really slow negatives and I think I might feel those tomorrow ;)

I just love getting stronger!

LMOD BodyCombat 72 & BodyBalance 68

BodyCombat 72 today which has some really fast combos in there. Loved the combo's but the fast changes meant a I missed a few reps here and there. Will be be better the second time through.
Good few push ups, mountain climbers and hip escapes making a great all rounder!
Didn't go too low in the jumping lunge section as I was quite awaare it was leg day yesterday lol

Chased it BodyBalance 68 - 30 mins flexibility version which was really nice but I missed having the meditation at the end.

Overall loved it and I felt great when I was done.

BodyBeast Build Legs

Needed a good leg day so BodyBeast Build Legs was the chosen one and boy that Step Up to Reverse Lunge is a tough set - phew!!!

Fingers crosed I don't walk funny tomorrow lol

I might try and get a bit of DDPYoga in later if I get chance too ;)

LMOD CX Worx 20 & DDPYoga Energy 2.0

Les Mills CX Worx 20 today for a bit of core work - it was ok but not my favourite routine.

Chased it with DPPYoga Energy 2. New yoga routine for me and it has some interesting twists and takes on traditional yoga - I think I'm going to like it ;)

LMOD BodyPump #101

New one for me and it was a great workout. I had to keep pausing as I was at home so had to keep changing Dumbbell weights and those pesking spinlocks take the time to change grrr. Bowflex are just too bulky for some of these moves.

Muscles screaming and I loved it!!!
