I started doing Crossfit September 22nd 2009 and I loved it - it's totally awesome and it made me a better person in so many different ways!

After nearly 4 years of Crossfit and wrist injury I tried a home fitness DVD for a change and something new - Rip 60 was really great and then I found Beachbody / Tony Horton's P90X!
It's THE best home fitness program ever!!!
It changed my body in so many amazing ways and got my cardio fitness, my core and overall strength including push up strength better than ever before!!

I now do many Beachbody programs as they are all so great.
I 'm a big Tony Horton fan because he makes me work hard but makes me laugh at the same time.
After I completed P90X, I did P90X3, P90X2 and some P90X+. I''ve tried other Beachbody programs including the P90, Piyo, Focus T25,
21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat, BodyBeast and Insanity, The Aslyum 1 and 2. Completed 21 Day Fix and 22 Min hard Core.

Did some Insanity Max 30 and Core de Force but my knees can't handle jumping every day so I have to mix them in.
Shift shop is great and looking forward to the new 80 Day obsession.

I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life and still getting stronger every day!

P90X Chest & Back

So after my other half has had man flu for about 3 weeks, he finally lovingly gave it me and so for the last 3 days I've been suffering pretty badly so I was sensible and rested.

The achey joints, energy drops through the floor after a 20 mins walk or trying to prep some food, hot head/ neck and head ache has eased today. Still have a minor sore tickley throat and silly cough with what feels more like a good cold but I feel much better than I did so decided to not go silly but got something done today.

Chest and back, I didn't push crazy hard, when the push ups and pull got tough I eased off which I think was sensible. At least I got something done and got the blood pumping.

Insanity The Asylum Vertical Plyo + Relief

Oh wow I forgot I tough this was - boy this really is vertical plyo to the extreme OMG!!!

Modified the plyo push up jacks by doing them on my bench just to protect my hand as the floor doesn't like my wrist landing on it hard.

Tough but fun in a bananas kind of way! Can I just say nobody makes me sweat like Shaun T!!!

Nice stretch with Relief straight after it.

Insanity The Ayslum - Strength

Its only the second time I've done this one and its a beauty lol

Great upper body thrashing with weights!! I used 3kg's to warm up round 1, then 4kg for round 2, then went back to 3kg's for the main workout. I just about managed, the shoulder presses were tough as usual but the rest was fine weight wise.
Next time 3kg for ones with shoulder press in but 4kg for everything else.
Wow push ups , push ups and more push ups wowweeee!

Really enjoyed it and look forward to getting better at it.

P90X Chest & Back

Its a while since I've done this one but really enjoyed it. I did 8 of each assisted pull ups and push ups - all push ups on my feet - which is a major person best for me! Now to increase my numbers!!

Body Beast Build Legs

So today I was undecided was workout to do - I started with Insanity Asylum 2 Agility Tutorial but after just a few mins my right knee hurt and I decided 30 mins of that was not a good idea. I checked my collection for something suitable that I fancied doing and couldn't come up with anything so I did my plan A which Build Legs with Sagi!

Went really well and I even got a PR on my bulgarian squats and calf raises - wahoo!!

P90X Chest, Shoulders & Triceps

A really great workout this one! Afterwards with muscles screaming I knew I had done a great workout - not had that feeling in a while so I feel good!

Had a loud pop in my left collarbone during the pike press but no pain and everything still works ok so guess I'm good to go!

Poor form on a couple of the tricep moves means an achey left elbow but it will mend. I must lead with the left and let the right do the same not the other way around.

Triceps were fried and chest worked hard on all those push ups. Really great workout!

P90X2 Base and Back & MHC 10 Min Chisel Abs

Enjoyed this tonight, most of it felt much easier than I remember it being so that was good.

Chased it with Chisel abs instead of X2 Ab ripper as I felt like a change, it was good but my abs were still tired from Yoga X's belly 7!!!!

Was good to do this as I haven't done it in a looooong time. Some of it was as tough as I remember, some a little more but most of it not too bad lol.

Enjoyed the stretches and even the Oms at the end - felt really chilled out and Love it!

P90X2 Chest, Shoulder & Triceps

Enjoyed this tonight, used bench instead of Stab ball for Laying tricep press (shoulders and head on the bench only).
Tried the bench at an angle for ironman kickbacks but that seems really weird and made the kick backs harder somehow?
The 3 ball extravaganza I forgot the knees on the second round and although I like the challenge of the med balls under each hand, my wrist are really not keen at all and I don't want to upset my pisiform again so power stands from now on.

Didn't do Abs after it and felt not fully recovered

HRM all over the place but enjoyed it.

Body Beast Build Legs

I didn't go crazy with the weights but got a great workout. I used the bench this time like I did for hammer and chisel - before when I did body beast I used a shorter height platform.

I'm expecting doms but hope they won't be too bad. Love leg day!!!

P90X2 V-Sculpt

So I had to get back to Tony but don't want to loose any core strength or leg strength that I've built in Hammer and Chisel so I did P90X2 V-Sculpt .

Went cautious on weights as unsure of all the renegade stuff. Used Bench instead of Stab. ball just because the ball in my small rooms takes up so much room its crazy. It also takes a lot of pumping to keep it hard enough to be of any use!

Enjoyed it and it felt good to be back with Tony. Chased it with X2 Ab Ripper thinking it should be a walk in the walk after all the abs with Autumn and Sagi - how wrong I was - OMG Ouchy!!!!!

Think I might know to it the day after the day after!!

P90XPlus Intervals X

Needed a cardio high today so went for Intervals with Tony and the kids!

Loved it - energy was a little low, been low carb for 48 hours and feeling it but got it done and loved every second of it.

I can honestly say that Hammer and Chisel has most definitely made my legs stronger, legs hardly screamed at all - so much easier than last time I did it - leg strength wise - cardio element was still tough but that was the whole point lol.

Well to give my muscles a rest after Hammer and Chisel I fancied a change so I bit of punching and kicking was called for!

Loved it - great stress relieving way to burn 500 cals!
